What is Premises Liability?

Premises liability cases. What are they? It’s simple, it’s when you’ve been hurt on someone’s property. It could be a place of business, a friend’s house, an amusement park… Any piece of property where you have been hurt. Now, a property owner or landlord has the responsibility to warn its invited guests, an invited guest can be someone who is visiting someone’s business, to warn them of a dangerous condition that they knew or should’ve known and if they don’t warn you of the dangerous condition they should’ve know they can be held liable for any injuries or damages you have suffered.

Now, the most important thing to do after you have been hurt on someone’s property is fill out an incident report. Let them know so they are on notice that you were hurt.
